These are my thoughts after playing a demo of DiRT via xbox live.
Firstly, those who are familiar with the series will note a slight deviation in the game title. It’s not Colin McRae’s Rally or Colin McRae 2007 – the DiRT name is a bit of a hint.
With the name change, the emphasis is moving slightly away from WRC Rally and focussing on off-road vehicles. You still get the rallying, don’t worry – but now the scope of the game has been widened to give you access to new things!
A major addition is the off-road buggies. These are extremely light and are very nippy as a result. The flip-side to that is that you really will get into trouble when jostling for position, if you are not careful.
